Lulu Mat Pole Dance Mats

The Lulu Mat is a new type of pole mat. Specially developed for pole dancers by pole dancers, the Lulu Mat gets out of your way when you’re practising or performing, but also cushions and protects when you need it most.

There are four Lulu Mats to suit every pole space and pole dancer. The Home and ProX Lulu Mats are 1600 mm in diameter (nearly twice as big as a 1200mm mat), making them ideal for use with most poles – and a perfect fit for the X-Stage! The Pro and Xtreme mats are wider still to keep you safe even when you’re using a high pole or practising advanced moves.

Serious mats for serious pole play

• A firm footing. All Lulu Mats have a firm top surface so you can walk, stretch and dance on the mat – even in heels! – without sinking in or tripping up. It also lets instructors and spotters get close to the pole without worrying about losing balance.
• Two mats in one. The Pro, ProX and Xtreme mats have a thick dual density foam core with a softer underside, so you can flip the mat for a gentler landing if you’re practising drops.
• Focus on the move, not the landing. All Lulu Mats and have a circular design so you don’t have to aim for a corner when dismounting from the pole.

Quality to the core

• Seriously good foam. Lulu Mats are made from high quality foam to slow falls progressively and prevent a potentially dangerous bottoming out. Our foam is cross-linked polyethylene, which is much more effective at cushioning falls than the non-cross-linked polyethylene found in some mats.
• Walk with confidence. The mats’ heavy duty polyester-reinforced outer cover is extremely durable and safe for use with heels and dance shoes.
• Made to last. All Lulu Mats are lovingly constructed from the finest quality materials that should give you many happy years of pole play. The mats also come with a 12 month guarantee.

Practical needn’t be boring

• Easy to lift, transport and store. All Lulu Mats are made of light but effective foam and are fitted with carry handles. The Home mat folds into four segments and weighs just 5 kg, while the ProX mat splits into two halves and weighs 18 kg, making them easy to store at home or in a smaller studio.
• Fit and forget. Industrial-strength Velcro fastenings mean the mats can be put in place quickly and fit snugly and securely around your pole.
